Rath Hourdisplatte RHS fireclay slabs with voids and tongue-and-groove system are specially designed to be applied directly to hot areas, especially areas outside the firebox. The air channels circulating through the slab voids ensure uniform heating, without the occurrence of overheated zones. The base material used to manufacture these slabs is ground fired clay.

An independent testing institute continuously monitors the production of RHS stove fireclay, guaranteeing compliance with the strict requirements of standard B 8306. Quality standards include fire resistance, density, porosity, cold compressive strength, thermal shock resistance, and subsequent shrinkage.

The result of this rigorous quality control: a high-quality fireclay with excellent properties in terms of service life, heat accumulation and storage, as well as uniform emission of thermal radiation.
